Rules and General Conditions
Could all trophies won in 2023 please be returned to the Secretary or handed into W J Blair in Kelso by 6th September 2024.
All Exhibitors must pay admission on Entry to Show – Admission Tickets are available in advance from the Secretary.
All Ewes to have reared a lamb this season.
The Exhibitors of all sheep must either own the sheep or have full authority from the owner. Breed Champion going forward to the Overhead must be under supervision of the Exhibitor.
All articles in the Vegetable and Flower Classes to be grown by and be the bona fide property of the Exhibitor, except where stated.
All articles that have been previously exhibited in the Industrial & Photography Sections are prohibited. All exhibits to be staged by 10.00am prompt & not to be removed prior to 4.00pm.
The Industrial marquee will close 10 minutes before cup presentation and re-open after cup presentation. All exhibits & Prize Money unclaimed after 5.00pm will become the property of the Committee, unless the Secretary has received instructions from the Exhibitor.
In the Horticultural and Industrial Sections, the catalogue number of the exhibit is placed on the table in duplicate. One number must be attached to the exhibit beside the corresponding number. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to see that their exhibits are correctly staged and the correct duplicate number affixed to their exhibit.
The decision of the Committee shall be final in all Show matters.
Entry forms are required for all Classes with the exception of the Dog Show & Children’s Classes.
Crooks and walking sticks must be the work of the exhibitor & entries are limited to 2 per exhibitor per Class. Novice stick dressers must not have shown for more than three years.
